Benenden's second ever 'Big Play' Back to archive
27th September 2018

Around 80 instrumentalists from across the school ensembles, boarding houses and year groups gathered in the Hall for the Benenden's second ever 'Big Play'.

With the area entirely cleared of chairs, the walls resounded to the fantastic sound of girls of all ages and abilities playing music from The Nutcracker. Hopefully the younger girls and new members of the school enjoyed their first taste of large-scale music at Benenden.

It was also great to see members of staff taking part, including the Head who is always keen to find time for the clarinet in her busy schedule!

The school's first 'Big Play' was a performance of the The Planets in 2015.
