I think I’ve settled in really quickly. I love my dorm, which I share with my new friends.

Named after the Earl of Cranbrook, Medway was purpose built in 1926. Medway is well known for having a friendly, inviting and cosy atmosphere away from school.  Some of the House traditions are the annual Pancake Day Race, St Nicholas Eve and the Upper Fifths' Leadership course.

Mr Nick Rendall is Housemaster of Medway. Previously he has run both a senior boys and mixed junior house at King Edward’s, Witley. He teaches English and History and has recently completed an MEd(Cantab), where he looked at the benefits of boarding education. 

He began his working life in the Coldstream Guards, where he enjoyed a range of different jobs, including training infantry soldiers in Catterick and  being Captain of the Guard at the Royal Palaces.  In his spare time he likes taking his dog Bob out for walks alongside spending time with daughter Beatrix and wife Vicki, who is studying for her PhD in Women in Victorian Literature

Mr Rendall is supported in House by Miss Emma Wheeler who is Deputy Housemistress and Head of RS; together with the team of Matrons, Miss Ali Derham, Resident Matron, Mrs Mary Elias, Day Matron and, Mrs Zena Bawden, Evening Matron, Mrs Beth Freeman is the Saturday afternoon House Assistant. Medway is also home to three dogs called Scamp, Louis and Bob!
