On 6 October Benenden U14 Hockey team competed in the Kent Schools Hockey Tournament.  They came second in their group drawing on points and goal difference with Highworth.  The team to go through to the quarter finals had to be determined by a penalty shoot out.  Benenden team won 3-0 on penalty flicks, the scorers were Lucy Hopkisson, Maddie Kowitz and Hebe Hunter-Gordon with fantastic saves from Arabella Spendlove in goal.  Benenden advanced to the quarter finals to take on Sevenoaks (the previous years winners).

The team held them to a 0-0 draw in the first half of the game and unfortunately the final score was 2-0 to Sevenoaks, which is a very respectable result considering this is the first time the team has played 11-a-side on astro.  The team were:
