Squash

Private lessons will take girls from complete beginner to a high standard of squash if they work hard and enjoy this fast paced competitive sport. From their first lesson the girls work through the the Development Player Awards Scheme that takes the girls through ten different shots enabling them to play to a good standard.

Lessons will then take the girls to a higher standard and they will become more competitive and hopefully gain a place in one of the four teams that play in the National School Competition. The School competes at U13, U15, U17 and U19 age groups. The girls also get the chance to play in the Kent Junior Closed Championships and internally there are individual Championships for the Lower, Middle and Upper School. To help the teams develop there are a number of friendly matches against local schools.

Squash is a great sport for all, helping with fitness, hand/eye coordination and it can be played all year round without interference from the weather.

Squash is taught by Gary Marshall, England Squash Level 3 Licensed Coach.
